Port Talbot Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Callum Holden.
Callum, 24, is a former Swansea City scholar and has been capped at international level by Wales u16s and u17s. He can play through the middle or out wide, with his most recent spell being with Rhydyfelin.
Upon signing, Holden says “I am looking forward to playing senior football under Pikey, having met up with the players and staff early last week. It is great to be back here at Port Talbot. Everyone made me feel so welcome and it was an easy decision to sign. Having not played for a few months now, I need to work on my fitness which will be right by the time the season starts.”
Manager Mark Pike will be no stranger to Holden, having brought him through the club’s successful youth side during his time as Youth Manager.
Discussing the new addition, Pike comments “Callum has huge potential and has so much quality to add to our squad. He is working hard on his fitness and I am looking forward to working with him again.”
Keep posted to the club website and social media in the coming days and weeks for more news on signings and eventually a return to play for the first team.
