In what was built as a six pointer down the bottom end of the Welsh league table. Port Talbot Town secured a 3-1 victory after initially conceding to Undy within the first 45 minutes of the game.
Undy were looking to set the marker early on in to the encounter and missed two glorious chances from close range within the first 20 minutes of the game but eventually made their efforts count when the deadlock was broken from the penalty spot and a 1-0 lead was taken in to half time.
It was Port Talbot asserting their dominance in the second half however. Jandir Zola was clinical from 12 yards when the Steelmen had a penalty of their own before Ryan Morgan and Keane Watts contributed with finished of their own to secure the three points for Mark Pike’s men.
Next up is a return visit to Goytre United this Friday (15 March – KO 7:30PM) in what is also set to be a crunch game as the Welsh league draws to its end of season conclusion. If you’re unable to make it, be sure to keep an eye on the official club twitter for live match updates.
