Port Talbot Town Ladies have secured their place in the semi-finals of the FAW Women’s Cup following a 3-1 win at home to Rhyl on Sunday afternoon.
Rhyl broke the deadlock first, with a strike from 30-yards out hitting the back of the net.
The Blues equalised not long after when Laura May Walkley struck a cool shot into the lower left corner of the visitors’ goal.
The Ladies made it 2-1 on 34 minutes after an early formation change by manager Hayley Williams paid off instantly with Courtney Thomas striking the back of the Rhyl net.
Jess Denscombe made it 3-1 in the second-half with a well-placed header proving too much for the away keeper.
The Blues now await the semi-finals draw which could see them play Cardiff Met, Cyncoed Ladies or Swansea City.
