Fine Display from the Youth

Port Talbot Town Youth took to the field to face Garden Village Youth at Victoria Road (or as the supporters fondly refer to it ‘The Sand Siro’) today (1 December) in the Welsh Youth League.

Port Talbot started to showed their dominance early on with a wave of attacks towards the visitors goal. The hard work eventually paid off with Jenson Cory putting PTT Youth ahead. The supporters thought that was the start of something more to come, but alas it wasn’t the case and PTT Youth went in at half time just 1-0 up.

Mini Ultras

As the second half kicked off, it was the visitors who had something to shout about as they levelled the scoring to make it 1-1 despite the efforts of the mini ultras blasting out vocals of ‘Port Talbot Town FC’ to try and give the PTT Youth the support required to continue the dominance they had shown in the first period.

Then something extraordinary happened. Jenson Cory decided to set the Sand Siro on fire on a cold Sunday afternoon by hitting not just a hat-trick, but 4 goals in this match to send the youth 2nd in the league table. All in all, a fantastic result and performance by the whole team .
